Mo Fitzgibbon is a distinguished writer, producer, and director known for her persistence, dedication, and professionalism. Her extensive experience spans broadcast television, including biographies, documentaries, variety shows, national commercials, and music specials and videos in both English and Spanish. Early in her career, Fitzgibbon honed her skills as a production coordinator and line producer before founding her own production company, where she produced and directed TV commercials, music videos, biopics, and reality shows. Having worked at every stage of production, she naturally progressed into writing and developing projects focused on true crime documentaries and scripted content.
An executive member of the Los Angeles chapter of Women In Film (WIF), Fitzgibbon has earned numerous accolades throughout her career. She is recognized for Lifetime Television’s Intimate Portrait of Gloria Estefan and won the prestigious NCLR ALMA Bravo Award for Outstanding Made for Television Documentary. Additionally, she received a Grammy nomination for Best Long Form for Gloria Estefan’s DVD "Don’t Stop." Her work on Joanna Tepper’s "Let’s Save The Children" music video and public service announcements earned the Dances With Films Audience Award. Fitzgibbon has also been honored with multiple American Advertising Federation Gold and Silver Addys, Telly Awards, and New York Film Festival Awards for her national commercials and music videos.
As a bold and innovative filmmaker, Mo Fitzgibbon continues to break boundaries and evolve creatively. Her impressive client roster includes NBC Universal, FOX, HBO, Investigation Discovery Channel, Destination America, Military Channel, FYI, MTV/VH1, CMT, DirecTV, Universal Kids TV, Sony Music, Epic Records, and EMI Records, among others.
