Chris Cardona, a Long Island native, is a multifaceted actor with a distinguished career spanning more than 35 years across film, television, and theatre. Beyond acting, he is an Acting Coach and Director, owning The Actors Workshop in New York, a studio celebrated for its stellar reputation and consistently successful acting students. Chris refined his skills at Long Island Performing High School, H.B. Studios, The Atlantic Theatre Company, and through the Master Class at The Barrow Group. He earned a B.F.A. in Drama & Theatre from Queens College.
Film and Television: Chris is recognized for his performances in films like Worth, God's Pocket, Noah, A Most Violent Year, The Bachelorette, The Confession, Henry's Crime, Blindsided, and Who Shot Pat? His television work includes guest and co-star roles on notable series such as Poker Face, The Blacklist, Blue Bloods, Hightown, The Money, Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Orange is the New Black, Person of Interest, Red Oaks, Cop Files, Madam Secretary, Believe, White Collar, The Sopranos, The Good Cop, All My Children, One Life to Live, The Guiding Light, As the World Turns, Loving, and General Hospital.
Theatre: On stage, Chris has performed lead roles in numerous productions, including A Streetcar Named Desire, Burn This, Requiem for a Heavyweight, Lobby Hero, Total Abandon, Wait Until Dark, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Italian American Reconciliation, Savage in Limbo, Welcome to the Moon, Match, Wrong Turn at Lungfish, All My Sons, The Importance of Being Earnest, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Guys and Dolls, Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, Wonderful Town, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Director and Writer: Chris has directed and written multiple film and television projects, such as the crime-thriller pilot Manhattan South, the sci-fi pilot I Am Karma, the comedy pilot Lifters, and the film Let Go Let God. He has also directed theatre productions in New York for over thirty years.
Fight Scene Choreographer and Stunt Work: With over 25 years of experience in boxing, kickboxing, and training professional fighters and World Champions, Chris is a highly regarded fight scene choreographer. He has performed stunt work for films, television, and commercials, doubling for and executing fight scenes alongside actors like Russell Crowe, Ray Winstone, and Kiefer Sutherland.
Chris resides in New York and is the proud father of two daughters, Courtney and Kayla. He is represented by The Collective Talent Agency for both legitimate and commercial work.
