Victor Fraga: Award-Winning Film Director, Writer, and Producer
Victor Fraga is an American-Brazilian film director, writer, and producer with a distinguished career spanning over three decades, bridging his native Rio de Janeiro and his current base in New York City.
His film, "Why Do I Need You," has achieved remarkable international success, earning a collection of awards and official selections at global festivals. The film won top prizes for Best Short Film at the Five Continents International Film Festival (Venezuela), Crown Wood International Film Festival (India), and for Best International Short Film at the Ekurbuleni International Film Festival (South Africa). Adding to these victories, the film was also recognized with an Honorable Mention at the Love & Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona and received further Honorable Mentions for Best Short Film and Best Directing at the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival.
As the founder of Untold Story Productions, Fraga demonstrates comprehensive mastery across all production phases, serving as director, cinematographer, and editor on his projects. His documentary shorts "The New Knights" and "The Bomb Shelter" have been selected for prestigious international festivals and are currently streaming on multiple platforms.
