A real-life mermaid in the water and an American actress on land, Waltriessa has experienced many facets of show business since childhood. After filming her first movie, The M.C. Hammer Story, she was signed by an acting and modeling agency in Houston, TX, following a call from the film's casting director—who contacted the agency without her knowledge. After securing several commercials in Texas, she expanded her career to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and now Wilmington, NC. Waltriessa has been fortunate to work as an actor, model, voice actor, content creator, event marketing manager, tradeshow hostess, product demonstrator, speaker, dancer, and mermaid. While building her career in TV, film, commercials, and voiceovers, she enjoys traveling, boogie boarding, swimming, and flipping her tail beneath the sea. Waltriessa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance with Teacher Certification and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Sam Houston State University.
