Kevin Hamburger is a seasoned television professional currently working as a Production Consultant. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Production at STARZ, where he managed all production and post-production for series such as Outlander, Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Force, P-Valley, BMF, Party Down, and The Serpent Queen. Before STARZ, Kevin held the position of Vice President of Production at Warner Horizon Television, worked as a Production Consultant at Alcon Television Group, and was an Emmy Award-winning Senior Supervising Producer for The Talk on CBS.
Prior to The Talk, Kevin was Senior Vice President of Production at Fox Television Studios and earlier held the same title at Warner Bros.' Telepictures Productions. His credits include The Bachelor franchise, A Christmas Story Live!, Ellen's Game of Games, The Talk at the Super Bowl, Little Big Shots, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Real, EXTRA, TMZ, Burn Notice, White Collar, Love Connection, The World's Best, The Expanse, Pete the Cat, Showtime at the Apollo, and Judge Mathis.
Kevin launched Jimmy Kimmel Live as Supervising Producer and spent seven years on Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, serving as Executive Producer for the final two years and earning seven Emmy nominations along with a CableACE award. Earlier in his career, he contributed to the launches of MTV, VH-1, and Nick at Nite. He began as a Systems Design Engineer at WNET (PBS) and ABC Television in New York, where he was responsible for implementing Closed Captioning for the Hearing Impaired on ABC.
Kevin served on the Television Academy's Board of Governors and the Television Academy Foundation's Board of Directors for fifteen years, holding roles including Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Governor of the Academy, as well as Treasurer of the Foundation. While on the Academy Board, he chaired the Creative Arts and Budget Review Committees, co-chaired the Saban Media Center Technology Committee, and played a key role in transforming the Creative Arts Emmys into a two-night event. He also secured several vendor contributions for the Capital Campaign.
Kevin frequently speaks to college interns during their Los Angeles semesters.
