Kevin McCorkle is an American actor, producer, educator, and Union advocate with a career spanning over forty years in film, television, theatre, commercials, and VoiceOver work. Born in Long Beach, California, McCorkle began his professional acting career in 1982 with a role in the feature film SIX PACK, working alongside Terry Kiser. This early opportunity earned him his SAG card and launched a dynamic, sustained career in entertainment. In 1983, he relocated to New York City to pursue roles in film, TV commercials, and daytime television. His credits include classic commercials and a memorable storyline on AS THE WORLD TURNS, where he portrayed a rebellious motorcyclist opposite Marisa Tomei. In 1985, McCorkle moved to Los Angeles, establishing a strong presence in national commercial work with over 300 appearances for numerous major brands. He became well-known as a long-running spokesperson for Bob Evans and appeared in campaigns for NIKE and American Express, notably portraying Tiger Woods' television caddy. His film work features parts in major studio productions such as THE ISLAND (2005), BOBBY (2006), and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (2012), where he played Mr. Cramer, a skateboard denier. On television, McCorkle has guest-starred in popular series including 24, Cold Case, CSI: Miami, Mistresses, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and The Rookie. With nearly 70 film roles and appearances in over 100 television episodes, he is recognized for his grounded presence, strong work ethic, versatility, and professionalism. McCorkle’s theatre work is equally esteemed, having led acclaimed Los Angeles productions such as Westin Tate in Sam Shepard’s CURSE OF THE STARVING CLASS at the Open Fist Theatre, Abbot in UNTETHERED at the Mountain View Mausoleum, and Tal in SOVEREIGN BODY at The Road Theatre. His favorite theatre role remains Willy Loman in DEATH OF A SALESMAN, performed in a limited run at The Secret Rose Theatre, co-produced with his wife and production partner Lisa Campbell-McCorkle through their company FREE LUNCH PRODUCTIONS INC. A dedicated student of his craft, McCorkle has trained with renowned acting teachers including Eric Morris, Peggy Feury, Bill Traylor, and Kate McGregor-Stewart. As a committed Union leader, McCorkle has been a SAG/SAG-AFTRA member since 1982 and currently serves on the Los Angeles Local Board, as an alternate for the SAG-AFTRA National Board, and as co-Chair of the LA SAG-AFTRA Conservatory. He champions member-driven content creation, affordable healthcare, casting fairness and equity, and expanded union resources for performers at all stages of their careers. Married to Lisa Campbell-McCorkle since August 4, 2002, they have two children, one of whom is also a SAG-AFTRA member. McCorkle continues to live and work in Los Angeles, remaining active on screen, stage, and in service to the artistic and labor communities that have shaped his enduring career.
