Russian actress Yulia Khlynina is celebrated for her diverse and impactful roles in both film and theater. Like a chameleon, she skillfully adapts to any character, earning genuine admiration from audiences and critics alike.
Born in Moscow in January 1992, Khlynina experienced her parents' divorce early in life. Raised by her mother and grandmother, she only grew close to her father after finishing school, with their meetings mostly limited to weekends.
Initially, acting was not an obvious path for Khlynina, who excelled in science during her school years. Her interest in performing was sparked by ballroom dancing, which gave her valuable public experience, though the costly hobby was beyond her family’s means.

She views theater as a true test of an actor’s state of mind. While still a student, she performed at the Satirikon Theater, playing the lead in Romeo and Juliet. However, after graduating, she found the responsibility overwhelming and decided to leave the company.
In 2013, Khlynina joined the Mossovet Theater, quickly becoming one of its leading actresses. Her roles include productions based on the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky, Anton Chekhov, and Vladimir Nabokov. She received the Moscow Komsomolets Theater Award for her role in "Le Cocu Magnifique."
Besides Mossovet, Yulia also acts in the Theater of Nations and the Volkov Drama Theater. Her role in "The Seagull. A Sketch" earned a nomination for the prestigious Golden Mask theater award.
Khlynina made her television debut with a guest role on the drama series Obmani, esli lyubish (2013-2014). Her role as Dasha in Zvonite DiKaprio! was unforgettable, portraying a loving, forgiving, yet resilient woman. She co-starred with Alexander Petrov, with whom she later worked again on the drama Ice 2 (2020).
