Born in the small town of Palatka, this only child grew up under the Florida sun. Her story began when her parents met at the Azalea Festival—her mom was a beauty pageant contestant and her dad served as a judge. Guess who took home the crown. Krystee spent much of her childhood in St. Petersburg, where she enjoyed some of the world’s most stunning beaches.
Her talents were encouraged early on. She explored a variety of activities including dancing, singing, piano, flute, ice-skating, horseback riding, juggling, and baton twirling. As a three-time state champion twirler, she dreamed of the Olympics—unfortunately, baton twirling never became an Olympic sport. What a disappointment.
Independent and precocious, Krystee graduated high school and moved to Los Angeles at 16. Over time, she appeared on many popular TV shows such as 7th Heaven, Roseanne, and Boy Meets World. She’s best remembered for her fierce role on Saved By The Bell, where her character helped Bayside win the championship—a standout episode in the series’ history.
Krystee portrayed Trish Putterman, the battery-powered robotic teenager, in a series of Duracell commercials. Wearing advanced latex prosthetics and a full plastic costume that took up to 4 hours to apply daily, the quirky campaign, directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, became a 90s sensation, inspiring T-shirts, phone cards, and even Halloween costumes.
Though creative in many ways, Krystee struggles with pet names—her Papillon dog is simply named “Papillon.” She dislikes phone conversations but is an avid reader. Afternoons find her at museums or people-watching, which she says fulfill the same curiosity. A night owl, she’s often seen watching the sunrise after a night out dancing.
Calling herself a “Pop Culture Junkie,” Krystee watches at least two movies weekly in theaters, proudly holds a Disneyland annual pass, and maintains a vast music library too large for any iPod. She’s hooked on Rockstar energy drinks—and the men who drink them. Having attended hundreds of concerts, she makes an annual trip to the Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
In her free time, Krystee acts as a guide dog for her aunt, who lost her sight due to diabetes. She volunteers at an elementary school and is an active recycler. With her warm, charismatic nature, it’s easy to think she might be “training for sainthood.”
Currently, Krystee is developing a sketch comedy show called Static—a perfect platform to showcase her versatility and natural comedic talent. After all, she loves laughing at herself!
