Luke Bilyk is an actor steadily gaining recognition through numerous roles in film and television. Born in North York, Ontario, he is the youngest of four siblings and has Italian, Ukrainian, and German heritage. His love for acting started at age five, eventually leading to his breakout role as Drew Torres on the acclaimed TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation, where he was a fan favorite for five seasons. Following this, Luke became a series regular in the second season of the Emmy Award-winning Canadian sci-fi show Lost Girl.
After his Degrassi tenure (2010-2015), Luke appeared in several films, including the Sundance-selected Hellions (2015), Holiday Joy (2016), Kiss and Cry (2017), F the Prom (2017), The Marijuana Conspiracy (2019), which screened at Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and Black Conflux (2019), featured in TIFF’s Top Ten.
Luke has also guest-starred on popular North American television series such as the teen comedy Raising Expectations alongside Molly Ringwald and Jason Priestley, The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow (2018), Citytv’s buddy cop comedy Hudson & Rex (2019), and FX’s acclaimed miniseries A Teacher (2020).
Beyond acting, Luke has co-produced three short films and actively supports the internationally known organization Free The Children. He has traveled to India, Haiti, and Nicaragua, contributing to building schools and installing water filtration systems in underprivileged areas.
With several projects underway, Luke continues to pursue his passion for acting, aiming to further his career in both film and television.
