Peter Tedeschi is an actor, writer, and producer with extensive experience both on stage and behind the camera. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in acting from Carnegie Mellon University and another from the Moscow Art Theatre Institute in Russia. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor's degree in journalism with a double major in journalism and Spanish literature from Marquette University. This diverse education has uniquely equipped him to be a versatile storyteller, working in both nonfiction (journalism) and fiction (theater and film). His performances in New York have been praised by The New York Times, The Village Voice, and Newsday, while the Russian press has described him as a "pure souled actor." On New York and regional theater stages, he has portrayed a wide range of characters, including the "obnoxious and disliked" founding father John Adams (three times in 1776), former slave owner Phineas Fletcher (Uncle Tom's Cabin), Shakespeare's Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing), Polixenes (The Winter's Tale), and a suicidal, alcoholic actor (The Lower Depths). Despite these serious roles, he is often seen performing comedy and farce on stage. As a journalist, he has reported on significant events such as war zones in Central America, the Middle East Peace Talks, and the September 11th attacks. He created Larry King Weekend on CNN and served as senior producer of Larry King Live. He also co-created, developed, and was executive producer of Noticiero CNN and later CNN en Español, CNN’s Spanish-language service. Additionally, he was senior executive producer of CNN Financial News, overseeing global economic coverage.
