He made his directorial debut with his first feature documentary, Electrodomésticos, El Frío Misterio (2010), which won the Jury Award for Best Film at the Inedit Chile Festival. He also directed the documentary Un día con Tortoise (2011), which was selected for Inedit Barcelona, Inedit Chile, Unerh.rt Hamburg, Distrital D.F Mexico, among other international festivals, and was distributed in the United States.
His first fiction feature, The Mud Woman (2015), premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and screened at over 15 festivals, including Toulouse, Montreal, Huelva, BFI London, Jerusalem IFF, and Cairo IFF.
He wrote and directed the documentary L'HOMME CACHÉ (2016) for France 3, earning the award for best Latin American documentary co-production with France and was chosen as the closing film of the official documentary competition at the Festival de Cine Latino de Toulouse.
He is currently developing his next fiction feature films: The Saddest Goal, Il cileno (2026), and Mil pedazos (2026).
In television, he was the creator and co-director of the fiction series La Jauría (2019), distributed internationally by Fremantle and released worldwide on Amazon Prime. He is currently the general director, alongside Pepa San Martín, of the first Chilean series for Disney+, Llévame al cielo (forthcoming), produced by Fábula.
