Amanda Oruh is a Nigerian actress, producer, and host, known for The Recipe (2024), King of Boys: The Return of the King (2021), and Rattle Snake (2020).
Born and raised in Lagos to William Iheanyichi Oruh and Joy Uchenna Oruh, she developed a passion for storytelling early in life and has steadily built a career in film and television. Her body of work reflects a commitment to socially conscious cinema and narratives that explore love, justice, and the human condition.
In 2019, Oruh was awarded an AFRIFF scholarship to direct a short film in Lyon, France, titled Three Faces, collaborating with international filmmakers. Beyond acting, she has produced projects including Strangers Web and Ume, and worked in advertising by producing commercials for brands such as BetKing Naija under the Kreglex Production agency, further establishing her versatility on and off screen. Her artistry and advocacy have been spotlighted by Nigerian media outlets such as Vanguard, The Nation, and Naija Daily, as well as in an interview feature on Channels TV.
She continues to work across acting, producing, and storytelling, with projects that reflect her passion for gender equality, education for the girl child, feminism, and social justice.
