Patrice Cochet is a French cinematographer and four-time Sundance Alumni award winner. His portfolio includes dramatic, comedic, mystery, thriller, and family feature films. Having shot over 25 scripted features and more than 30 projects across TV, movies, commercials, and music videos, Cochet has also mentored emerging filmmakers at the Sundance Director's Lab and Columbia College Hollywood. He holds an MFA in cinematography from the American Film Institute. Cochet gained recognition for his work on Sundance favorites such as Better Luck Tomorrow, The End of Love, The Good Life, and Joshy. The Los Angeles Times described him as "a gifted cinematographer," The Hollywood Reporter praised him as "technically scorchingly good" and "great at capturing emotional rawness," while Roger Ebert noted his ability to make small indie films look as polished as major studio productions.
