Gina Fortunato has spent over 20 years in the Entertainment Industry, specializing in Production Management and Supervising roles. Her diverse career spans feature films, television, commercials, and music videos. She has effectively managed and delivered projects for major studios including Fox, Universal Pictures, DreamWorks SKG, New Line Cinema, MGM, and the Weinstein Company.
Career highlights include serving as Production Manager for Oliver Stone's "W," starring Josh Brolin, and Callie Khouri's "Mad Money," featuring Queen Latifah, Diane Keaton, and Katie Holmes. Gina was Production Supervisor on the Academy Award-nominated films "Walk The Line," "House of Sand & Fog," and "The Road To Wellville." She Line Produced Hyde Park Entertainment’s "Premonition," starring Sandra Bullock and directed by internationally acclaimed Mennan Yapo. Prior to this, Gina was Senior Vice President of Production at Kevin Williamson’s Outerbanks Entertainment, where she produced the TV series "Glory Days" and "Wasteland" and held an overall production deal with the Weinstein Company, collaborating on multiple films.
Most recently, Gina Line Produced the indie thriller "Dead Men Float," directed by Jon Hess, which generated buzz at the 2014 American Film Market. She is currently developing two films: "Undercard," the compelling story of a female boxing champion facing adversity, written and directed by Tamika Miller; and "The Hail Mary," a biopic about Doug Williams, the first African American quarterback to win a Super Bowl.
Born in Chappaqua, New York, Gina graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a double major in Business and Psychology. She also studied film history at Oxford University and traveled extensively throughout Europe. After Georgetown, she began her career as an Account Executive at the boutique advertising agency Lowe Marschalk NY, creating innovative marketing campaigns for clients such as Citibank, Nabisco, and Nike. Gina later relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for filmmaking. As an active member of the Directors Guild of America, she remains a dedicated and inspired filmmaker.
