Born in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, Ingrid attended the esteemed German College "Goethe." There, she studied not only basic German but also English, French, and Latin. During her time in college, she began acting and won her first audition, an international commercial, competing against over 300 girls. Soon after, she landed her first major role in one of Romania's earliest sitcoms, "Casatorie de proba" (Probation Marriage) in 2004, portraying Flori, a clever and humorous teenager. At just 16, she appeared alongside Ben Kingsley in her debut film role in "Bloodrayne." After graduating, Ingrid enrolled at Hyperion Acting University, where she achieved the highest admission score. While studying there, she played "Viviana" in the film "Tales From The Golden Age," directed by Cristian Mungiu, winner of the Palme d'Or at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. The movie received six nominations at Cannes. Upon completing university with distinction, Ingrid continued her successful film career, taking on the role of "Selena" in "Periferic" (Outbound). Seeking broader opportunities, she appeared in major Hollywood productions such as "The Dark Prince," playing "Minerva" alongside Jon Voight, and in Terry Gilliam’s latest film, "The Zero Theorem." Despite her young age, Ingrid has already worked under renowned directors, with much more to come.
