Guy Camilleri is a Los Angeles-based actor, screenwriter, producer, and founder of RAW Acting Studio. Renowned for his bold choices and dedication, he delivers powerful, vulnerable, spontaneous, and deeply moving performances on both screen and stage. Raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Guy attended Cocoa Beach High School and Florida State University before spending several years in Honolulu and eventually moving to New York City to pursue acting.
His training includes seven years with master teacher-director Gene Frankel in New York and two years under Catlin Adams in Los Angeles. Additionally, he studied in an exclusive class led by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Bobby Moresco.
Guy made his screen debut as the lead in Hotel Sumatra, written and directed by Ariel Vromen, a collaboration that also produced two other features, Rx and Danika. He has since built a substantial body of work across film, television, and theatre.
Taking control of his career, Guy produced and starred as Harry in the Los Angeles premiere of Ira Lewis’s Chinese Coffee, directed by acclaimed director Jack Heller. The production received glowing reviews from the Los Angeles Times and LA Weekly. He also produced the critically acclaimed L.A. staging of Jean Cocteau’s The Human Voice at the Elephant Theatre, directed by multi-award-winning Dan Bonnell and featuring a powerful performance by Ho-Jung.
As a screenwriter, Guy has completed two feature-length scripts. His second screenplay was co-written with writer-director Chris Cordone, who later cast Guy in his directorial debut, Stevie D. Guy is actively developing an original feature project, which he plans to produce.
He is a proud member of the Writers Boot Camp. When time allows, Guy competes in surf contests along the California coast and is committed to preserving the health and cleanliness of the ocean.
