Entertainment Producer Brett Hardy founded Journey Media in 2006 after an intensive ten-year learning process in the United States. During his time in the US, Brett worked on the Emmy winning mini-series 'Buffalo Girls' directed by Rod Hardy, and collaborated with numerous film and music legends, including Pierce Brosnan, Anjelica Huston, Reba McEntire, Jackie Chan, Ice T, and Lemmy Kilmister.
Brett also produced some of the biggest skateboarding films of the era, such as 'Almost Round Three' with Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song, which included early innovations in the exhibition of 3D content and live stream events set in large arena formats and remote surfing locations.
Since the establishment of Journey Media, his career highlights include co-producing Eric Bana's directorial debut 'Love The Beast'. The feature documentary, starring Jeremy Clarkson, Jay Leno, and Dr. Phil McGraw, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and a million dollars at the Australian box office.
Brett further developed his expertise in the factual documentary field with two seasons as Showrunner/Producer on the automotive series 'Garage Dreams' for Warner Discovery in the USA, Outdoor Channel Asia, Redbull TV Germany, and Foxtel in Australia. While developing other independent television formats in the factual and drama space.
Brett is also Executive Producer for the 'Environmental Symphony' project, a unique, multi-modal live performance and streaming collaboration by Dr. Allan Zavod, Sir Richard Branson, and Dr. Alan Finkel AC. This environmental awareness media project features a full orchestra, thought-provoking narration, and immersive synchronized visuals, with a preview event taking place at EarthX in Dallas, Texas in 2023 and a full performance at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York on UN Day in Oct 2023.
