Over 20 years ago, Peter studied Dramatic Arts at the University of Toronto, where he designed, stage managed, directed, and performed in classic, modern, and contemporary productions, including works by Shakespeare, Cole Porter, Tennessee Williams, Anton Chekhov, George F. Walker, David French, Conni Massing, and William Mastrosimone. After completing the program, he obtained dual citizenship (Canada and EU - Italy) with plans to further his studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in England.
However, Peter decided to remain in Canada and pursue a stable, comfortable domestic life. When the cold, impersonal corporate world wore him down, he realized life is short and regrets are pointless. He stepped out of his comfort zone and committed to pursuing his dream of becoming an accomplished actor.
In his 40s, Peter experienced a renaissance and began redeveloping the skills necessary to achieve his goal. He studied various acting techniques, including the Meisner Technique, attended Shakespeare workshops, voice-over training classes, and received one-on-one coaching. He draws on his successes, failures, and all experiences in between as inspiration for his acting.
In a short time, Peter has earned performance credits in independent films, television, web series, print work, and live theatre.
Recently, Peter has also established himself behind the scenes, working in casting, sound, post-production, writing, and producing. He is currently in pre-production for a short film he co-wrote and will co-produce, in which he will also play the lead role.
