Raymond Forchion, a distinguished actor, writer, producer, director, and Acting Career Enhancement Consultant, began his theater career at the age of seven. During his tenure on the National SAG Board, he contributed to the development of the Screen Actors Guild's (now SAG-AFTRA's) updated Low-Budget Film Agreements and led the Guild's L.A. Casting Committee for six years, facilitating employment opportunities for thousands of union actors. Honored with a Lifetime Award from The Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center, he has guest-starred and co-starred in numerous TV series and films, served extensively as an acting coach, and appeared in nearly 100 commercials.
Ray has conducted his transformative motivational acting seminars and workshops worldwide, coaching hundreds of actors, writers, and directors over more than 30 years. His innovative and sometimes controversial new system and manual for actors, "The Actor's Bible: Jealously Guarded Secrets On How To Become A Successful Paid Actor In Hollywood... Or Anyplace Else!" offers a fresh approach to building a professional acting career.
In addition, Ray has written, produced, directed, and cast multiple plays and screenplays, including serving as associate producer for the 1992 Academy Award-nominated film "Last Breeze of Summer." He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Joshua Logan, Burt Reynolds, Cliff Roberson, Kathryn Bigelow, Martin Sheen, Tom Wilkinson, Laura Dern, Ron Underwood, Ving Rhames, Kevin Spacey, Ed Begley, Jr., Will Sampson, and Christopher Plummer on stage and screen.
