Jon and Andrew Erwin are a directing duo dedicated to creating and producing distinctive stories centered on redemption, faith, and the resilience of the human spirit. Their career began as teenagers in Birmingham, AL, working as camera operators for ESPN. They transitioned from filming local University of Alabama games to full-time sports cameramen, covering events such as college football, the NBA, NFL, and the X Games. In 2002, they launched their own video production company, expanding into commercials, documentaries, and music videos. Their greatest achievements came in the music industry, directing videos and producing concerts and television shows for platinum artists including Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns, Switchfoot, Skillet, Montgomery Gentry, and others. Jon and Andrew earned the Music Video of the Year award at the GMA Dove Awards for three consecutive years and received a total of eleven nominations. They have also produced and directed several feature-length documentaries, including the multi-award-winning 9/11 film The Cross and the Towers, as well as the international dramatic short film series God Provides. In 2010, the brothers shifted their full focus to feature films. Their debut feature, October Baby, a coming-of-age drama, was released by Samuel Goldwyn and Provident Films and opened in the top ten at the box office. They are currently developing their new feature comedy, Moms' Night Out, scheduled for release in 2014.
