Panta Mosleh, a graduate of the Groundlings School of Comedy in Los Angeles and recipient of the 2021 SNL scholarship, is a Queer West Asian Middle Eastern Canadian-American Writer, Producer, Director, and Actress who divides her time between Los Angeles, CA, and Vancouver, BC.
She is an alumna of the Women in Director's Chair, Reelworld Warner Access and Bell Producing Program, National Screen Institute EAVE development program, Sundance Writing for Television program, and Sundance Directing program. Currently, she is among the top 20 emerging writers in Canada through Reelworld. Panta is a member of SAG, ACTRA, UBCP, DGC, and CMPA, with over a decade of experience in the industry as a performer, production coordinator, production manager, producer, and director.
Recently, she directed three TV movies for TF1 and A&E/Lifetime: THE WEDDING CONTEST, MOMMY'S STOLEN MEMORIES, and 12 DARES OF CHRISTMAS. She is also writing a TV movie for REELONE.
Her series PASS THE SALT is currently in development with PK Studio Productions & Incendo for CBC.
Panta’s storytelling is deeply influenced by her personal experiences, challenges, and achievements, making her work authentic and relatable. She is passionate about creating joyful representations of minority groups.
