Brandee Steger is an actor, journalist, and screenwriter from Upland, California. She first performed alongside her husband and producing partner, Michael Steger, in a seventh-grade production of Pyramis and Thisbe, where Michael played Pyramis and Brandee portrayed the Wall. Both attended Cal Poly Pomona, and later collaborated to co-produce and direct Brandee Built on Crazee, a one-woman show that ran for eight weeks to sold-out audiences at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood. Together, they produced and co-directed The Wrights, a short film starring Ted Danson that won Best Acting at the Culver City Film Festival, and Not So Union, a comedy web series featuring Bayne Gibby (Lady Bird). Brandee is currently producing her independent film.
As a young figure skater, Brandee trained alongside champions like Michelle Kwan, Surya Bonaly, and Sasha Cohen. After realizing she would not pursue the Olympics, she shifted her focus to stage performance, working across the U.S. and London with esteemed directors such as Howard Storm and Tony nominee Wilson Milam. In her television and film career, Brandee stars alongside her husband in the upcoming film God is an Astronaut, adapted from a book selected for Oprah’s book list. She has guest-starred on shows including 911 (FOX), Grey's Anatomy (ABC), American Auto (Hulu), The Babysitters Club (Netflix), American Crime Story: The Impeachment of Bill Clinton (Hulu), and Young Sheldon (CBS). Brandee also has a recurring role on the Young Sheldon spin-off series Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. She has trained with notable acting instructors like Warner Loughlin and Oscar winner Martin Landau and is a Lifetime Member of the Actors Studio.
