Devanny Pinn is an award-winning actress and producer from Los Angeles, California, renowned for her work in independent horror films. Performing since the age of three, Devanny was raised in New Jersey, where she appeared in ballets and musicals. She starred as Clara in South Jersey Ballet Theater’s production of "The Nutcracker" and later performed in the Moscow Ballet's production during their US tour. At 17, she relocated to Arizona and secured the role of Eva Peron in Scottsdale Theater's "Evita." She earned an opera scholarship to college and portrayed Christine Daaé in a televised production of "Phantom of the Opera."
While in college, reality show producers cast Devanny in various Los Angeles-based programs including Rock of Love, Shot at Love, Paris Hilton’s New BFF, and VH1’s Scream Queens. Inspired by production, she pursued acting roles in films, landing her first leading role in a horror feature that introduced her to genre fans and earned her the title of ‘scream queen’ by the press.
Since then, she has appeared in over 80 horror films, sharing the screen with genre legends such as Linda Blair, Danny Trejo, Vivica A. Fox, Sid Haig, and Tara Reid. She has received critical praise for portraying notorious real-life figures, including Susan Atkins in the Charles Manson biopic "House of Manson," and murder suspect Casey Anthony in the ID mini-series "Casey Anthony: An American Murder Mystery," which achieved the highest-rated debut in the network’s history. The psychological thriller "The Dawn," starring opposite Stacey Dash (Clueless) and Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls), premiered in American theaters in January 2020 and continues to screen worldwide.
Developing a passion for filmmaking behind the scenes, Devanny began producing feature films in 2012. She served as VP at an international sales agency and worked in acquisitions for a U.S.-based distribution company. She has produced ten feature films available on television, Blu-ray, DVD, and video-on-demand platforms globally, and her work has been featured in major industry publications such as Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair, The Wrap, and Rolling Stone. Devanny aspires to become a studio executive and is a proud member of the Producers Guild of America.
