Phurba Sherpa is a world record-holding Director, Showrunner, and International Field Producer with 18+ years of experience in broadcast television, documentary film, films, live productions, reality formats, talk shows, branded content, corporate films, TV commercials, and music videos, across the UAE and globally.
Recognized by the World Book of Records (UK) for directing the world's highest-altitude talk show production at 5,550 meters above sea level, Sherpa has accumulated 1,750+ hours of broadcast and screen content across his career, and production support for Netflix, BBC, Discovery, Amazon, Sony Pictures, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), and Fujairah TV.
His field and documentary work includes CNN International coverage of the 2015 Nepal earthquake alongside correspondents Ivan Watson and Will Ripley, and by-lined Everest expedition reporting.
