Mark hails from York, England, situated between the birthplace of The Beatles and the meeting place of William and Kate. Yes, York.
He launched his professional acting career in productions such as Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit and William Shakespeare’s Henry IV. For those interested, you can find him in the archives at Shakespeare’s hometown, Stratford-Upon-Avon, where he performed as Casca in Julius Caesar. It’s a fact—it’s documented.
After being introduced to acting by Noel and William, Mark shifted his focus to classical ballet and contemporary dance, training at institutions including the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. So yes, he can dance—and will, if asked politely. In tights.
Mark eventually returned to acting and, with his classical training, relocated to Los Angeles—a city known more for its glamour than its classical roots. And there he was.
Recently, Mark appeared in Justin Chon’s follow-up to BLUE BAYOU, titled JAMOJAYA. His other film credits include George Clooney’s SUBURBICON, Netflix’s BUZZSAW REVOLVER directed by Dan Gilroy, and I’M CHARLIE WALKER, where he starred alongside Mike Colter from Luke Cage.
On television, Mark has held series regular roles in THE MARS PROJECT from CBS and The Kennedy Marshall Company, Rush Battlefield, and guest-starred on Better Things among others.
Adding to the richness of his life, Mark resides in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
