Michael appears opposite Margaret Qualley in Ethan Coen's "Honey Don't!" on Netflix, playing not one but two roles. He was recently cast as co-lead in a major production featuring A-list actors. Michael’s first significant film role was in "Book Club," where he provided comedic relief alongside Jane Fonda and Don Johnson. Since then, he has taken on a diverse array of leading and strong supporting roles in various feature films, from the masked killer in "Straight On Till Morning" (now available on all major streaming platforms) to the gay conservative in the suspense thriller "I Voted," starring Eric Roberts. Michael has trained with notable professionals, including Donald Petrie (director of "Grumpy Old Men" and "Miss Congeniality") and, more recently, Richard Robichaux, known for appearing in nearly every Linklater film. He earned a BA in theater in 2015 and previously served in the Marine Corps from 2006 to 2010, deploying to Afghanistan with Marine Special Operations Command and exiting as a Sergeant. Outside of acting, Michael enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, swimming, and yoga. Recently, he climbed Mount Fuji after completing work on a AAA video game in Japan. In 2019, he walked solo for 3,333 miles from Portland, Maine, to San Diego, California, raising funds for homeless veterans. Michael also has a passion for singing, with a strong talent for crooning and country music. If he weren’t so devoted to acting, he might have pursued treasure hunting full-time.
