Rachel McCord is an American television host, executive producer, author, actress and media entrepreneur. She is the founder of The McCord List Media Network and the host and executive producer of The McCord List Today (2025), a nationally syndicated talk series featuring conversations with creators, entrepreneurs, public figures and professionals shaping entertainment, business, culture and media.
McCord founded The McCord List in 2013 as a platform dedicated to highlighting women working in fashion, entertainment and entrepreneurship. The platform later developed into The McCord List Media Network, which creates, produces and distributes television programs, podcasts and digital content for creators, experts and entrepreneurs. Its programming is distributed through broadcast, digital and streaming platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire, Samsung and Apple TV.
Before expanding into television production and media entrepreneurship, McCord worked as an actress, model, producer, writer and director. Her screen credits include Getting That Girl (2011), A Mini Movie (2016) and The McCord List Today. She also served as host and executive producer of Bloomberg Television’s Female Founders.
McCord is the author of Slay the Fame Game: Break into Entertainment Without It Breaking You, published in 2017. Throughout her career, she has interviewed figures from entertainment, media and entrepreneurship, and her work has received coverage from publications including Forbes, Vogue, WWD and Entrepreneur.
Through The McCord List Media Network, McCord continues to develop and support programs designed to give creators, entrepreneurs and subject-matter experts access to professional production, media training and national distribution.
