Victoria Summer, an actress and singer, gained recognition for her breakthrough role as Julie Andrews in Disney's Saving Mr. Banks alongside Tom Hanks, as well as a supporting part in Paramount Pictures' Transformers: Age of Extinction, directed by Michael Bay. Her filmography also includes Garlic and Gunpowder (with Vivica A. Fox, Martin Kove, and Michael Madsen), Game of Aces (Chris Klein), Ratpocalypse (Casper Van Dien), the musical How Sweet Is It (Erika Christensen, Joe Piscopo), and Glow and Darkness (Jane Seymour, Denise Richards).
Looking ahead to 2024, Victoria has numerous projects underway. Her upcoming major film is Vindication Swim, where she portrays Edith Gade, the first British woman to swim the English Channel. She will also play Julie Davis in Brooklyn All American, starring alongside Sex and the City’s Chris Noth and Christopher McDonald. The film centers on a young man's pursuit of success in Division One college football. Beyond acting, Victoria is an accomplished singer who continues to impress audiences on stage and screen. She headlines prominent Los Angeles events with The Victoria Summer Big Band, performing for esteemed organizations such as Women In Film, BMW, and 20th Century Fox. She is also known for her role as The Biltmore Girl during the Centennial Anniversary Celebration of the Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles.
Victoria’s passion for entertainment began early, from pantomimes and church choir singing to local theatre at age three. She earned a scholarship to Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick, West London, where she graduated with honors in Dance and Musical Theatre. In her final year, she understudied the lead in the musical Brighton Rock, directed by Michael Attenborough, performed at the Almeida Theatre. More recently, she has recorded songs for the soundtracks of Garlic and Gunpowder and Ratpocalypse and is currently working on her debut single as a recording artist.
As a global ambassador for Teen Cancer America, a national nonprofit co-founded by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who, Victoria supports facilities and services for adolescents and young adults with cancer. She has hosted three Afternoon Tea Events, titled Tea with Victoria Summer, featuring guests like Sheryl Crow, Alfie Boe, and Downtown Abbey’s Lesley Nicol. She plans to host another star-studded Tea Event this June at the Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica.
Victoria also created the website and TV show Next Generation Role Model, which highlights emerging young talent and features interviews with visionary leaders of the next generation.
In her spare time, Victoria rescues animals and helps find them permanent homes. Originally from the countryside town of Wokingham in Berkshire, she now lives in Los Angeles with her Pomeranian Bentley and cats Tiger and Storm. In 2020, she met and became engaged to Italian Michelin-starred chef Fabrizio Vaccaro. The couple married in a fairy-tale ceremony in Calabria, Italy, on May 22, 2023, with exclusive coverage by HELLO! magazine. Victoria has truly found her happily ever after.
