Actress, producer, writer, comedian, and CEO of Latin Hollywood Films Inc., Omni Cultural TV, and Omni Cultural TV Fest. She discovered comedy while living near the Comic Strip in NYC and quickly became one of America's leading female performers, touring nationally alongside top comedians. She created the first bilingual entertainment show, "Kiki Desde Hollywood," which was a hit on the Galavision National Network, as well as the all-female, cross-cultural show "Kiki Melendez' Hot Tamales Live!" that aired from 2009 to 2011 on Showtime Networks. She also developed the variety comedy show "Locos Y Contentos" for Estrella TV National Network. In 2015, her docu-comedy "Journey of A Female Comic" qualified for the Academy Awards and was included in the Permanent Core Collection at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Library. In 2017, Latin Hollywood Films produced a full 13-episode season of "Kiki Mobile," America’s Mobile Talk Show, which aired on A+E Networks' FYI and was distributed worldwide by RMVISTAR. In 2019, co-founder Cindy Cowan and Kiki Melendez launched Omni Cultural TV Fest in partnership with NATPE, earning a five-star festival rating. In 2020, Kiki created the Omni Cultural TV Fest Virtual Pre-Show, showcasing sneak peeks of projects and creators selected by OCTVF, attracting thousands of views per episode. She pioneered the first all-day film festival featuring Avatar Technology, held on December 8, 2020, via StreamWorld Innovations, a non-profit educational platform. She is set to debut her first book, Chase Hope and Faith, in 2021, adding author to her extensive list of talents and accomplishments.
