Marc Alan Solomon is an American actor taking a nontraditional path into entertainment by way of the alternative healthcare field. While in school, he was reintroduced to the entertainment world through friends, which ultimately led him to pursue acting professionally.
His characters are often authority figures who are intense, morally complex and frequently manipulative, egotistical, or conniving. Examples include a torturous mob loan shark in Simple Score, a conflicted mob hitman in The Birthday Exit, a mysterious and complex suspected killer in the woods in the dramatic horror Run Rabbit (2024), a dark and nefarious surgeon in Too Close to the Sun (2024), a mentally disturbed doctor in Cramped, and a retired ex-con boxer struggling with anger and substance abuse issues in Heavyweight (2024).
In recent projects such as The Picture (2025), Refrain (2026), and What Pain Left Behind, he plays protagonist law enforcement characters, winning the day by bending the rules when necessary. In The Birthday Exit, he portrays a mob hitman ordered to eliminate a consigliere who was once his mentor, ultimately choosing loyalty to an old friend over the demands of organized crime.
Fortunately, being an actor, writer, director, doctor, and entrepreneur keeps him busy. In his off-time, he enjoys working out, scuba diving, spending time at the beach, peanut butter whiskey, and watching live baseball.
