Philippa Campey is the founder of Film Camp, a production company based in Melbourne. Over the past two decades, Film Camp has produced numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful feature dramas and documentaries, including Bastardy, Brazen Hussies, murundak: Songs of Freedom, No Time for Quiet, Palazzo Di Cozzo, Anonymous Club, and Iraq, My Country. Her debut feature drama, Galore, premiered at Berlinale in 2014. The Face of Ukraine: Casting Oksana Baiul won the Short Film Jury Prize at Sundance in 2015, and her debut short film, Clara, received the Jury Special Mention at Cannes in 2005. Her films have also earned awards at AFI Fest, FIFO, and Seminci Valladolid, and have been screened at over 100 festivals worldwide, including Venice, Sundance, Berlinale, BFI London, IFFR, Telluride, True/False, and Sheffield Doc/Fest. Philippa has been honored with SPA's Independent Documentary Producer of the Year award (2008), Film Victoria's Greg Tepper Award (2009), and was an inaugural recipient of Film Victoria's Natalie Miller Fellowship for Women in Leadership (2016).
