Hailing from the deep south, Michael was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. His passion for music emerged early, leading him to move to Los Angeles in 1980 to pursue a professional drumming career. Michael has toured, recorded, or performed with artists such as Three Dog Night, Randy Bachman, Bo Diddley, Belinda Carlisle, Percy Sledge, and many others. His experience drumming in films, music videos, and television sparked a love for acting.
Kicking off 2015 with momentum, Michael had two films officially selected for ten festivals across the U.S.: the feature "The Broken Legacy" and the short "The Dangle." He recently completed supporting roles in two feature films, "Del Playa" and "Exit Zero." His recurring roles include appearances on Californication, Shadow Love, and All My Children, along with guest and co-star roles on Ray Donovan, Cold Case, The Young and the Restless, and comedy pilots Bleach and Unemployment. Directors Michael has collaborated with include Adam Bernstein, Michael Uppendahl, Seith Mann, Jeff Hunt, Owen Renfroe, and Casey Childs.
