Soledad Fandiño, born in Monte Grande, Buenos Aires, is an Argentine actress known for her work on stage, television, and in feature films. She made her acting debut in the 2003 television series REBELDE WAY. Following this, she was cast as Felicitas Echagochen in the popular family sitcom RICOS Y MOCOSOS (2004-2005), a role that earned her nominations for Best New Actress at the Premios Martín Fierro and Premios Clarín. Over the next three years, she secured leading roles in family sitcoms produced by POL-KA for CANAL 13, notably starring as Juanita, the female lead in JUANITA LA SOLTERA alongside Gabriel Corrado, and later as Jazmin Sassone opposite Nicolas Cabre in POR AMOR A VOS.
Seeking new challenges, Soledad transitioned to theater, television films, and mini-series. In 2009, she starred as the lead in Astral Theater’s production of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, directed by Alicia Zanca. That same year, she played the lead in the episode "El Manto Chino" of the sci-fi anthology series DROMO. In 2010, she portrayed an actress in love with Juan Perugia (played by Gaston Pauls) in TELEFE’s comedy series TODOS CONTRA JUAN 2. Director Alberto Lecchi later cast her as Alicia, a domestic violence victim, in the drama series MALTRATADAS, filmed in Uruguay. This dramatic role was followed by a leading part opposite Independent Spirit Award winner and BAFTA nominee Rodrigo de la Serna in the drama series CONTRA LAS CUERDAS (2010), the only Argentine dramatic series nominated for an International Emmy.
Returning to the stage in 2011, Soledad starred in CEREMONIA SECRETA, an adaptation of Marco Denevi’s novel directed by Rodolfo Bebany and Oscar Barney Finn at the Margarita Xirgu theater. Acting opposite Uruguayan stage actress Estela Media, she portrayed Cecilia Engelhardt, a woman suffering physical and mental abuse who loses her sanity while desperately searching for her deceased mother. This performance earned her a nomination for Los Premios Florencio Sánchez in 2012. Later that year, she starred opposite Luis Machin in the episode "Cuestion de Poder" of the anthology series TELEVISION POR LA INCLUSION.
In 2012, feature film director Juan José Campanella featured Soledad in the music video for Latin Grammy winner CALLE 13’s song "LA VUELTA AL MUNDO." More recently, she completed work on TELEFE’s comedy series MI VIEJO VERDE, starring alongside Martín Piroyansky and Betiana Blum.
