Ricky Russert, the youngest of three siblings, was born to entertain. Growing up in Kennewick, Washington, he was often the highlight of family gatherings, frequently called upon to dance and keep the party lively.
Raised with a strong passion for sports, Ricky played everything from baseball and football to basketball, and at age 10, he became an international Tae-kwon-do trophy winner.
After high school, he earned a scholarship to play college baseball while majoring in Business. However, after his sophomore year, Ricky decided to hang up his baseball cleats and pursue acting. During his junior year at Washington State University, he joined the theater department and took on lead roles in productions such as "The Shape of Things," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Fool For Love," and played Iago in "Othello."
Following his graduation from Washington State University in 2005, Ricky moved to Los Angeles to focus on acting full-time. In 2006, he appeared in the short film All's Fair and the HBO movie Walkout.
In 2008, Ricky returned to his business roots by founding his production company, Triple R Entertainment. He also had the chance to develop a project as a producer alongside the legendary television producer Dick Clark.
On television, Russert has guest-starred in various shows including Touch, Desire, Table for Three (Fox Productions), and in 2013, he landed the role of Tommy Littlestone on the Cinemax Original hit series Banshee.
On June 25, 2015, he married nutritionist Nichole Dandrea. They reside in Atlanta, Georgia, with their pets.
