Over a thirty-year career, Fon Davis has contributed to more than 50 feature films, along with numerous music videos, commercials, TV shows, and other projects. As a former member of Industrial Light & Magic's Model Shop, Fon also serves as an instructor at the Stan Winston School, creates content, and speaks publicly. He often leverages his extensive expertise in entertainment and visual storytelling to share his knowledge widely.
Fon has been actively involved in supporting education, VFX, SPFX, robotics, 3D printing, maker culture, and geek communities through his work with programs for disadvantaged youth, international conventions, the Visual Effects Society, Dwayne Johnson's Dwanta Claus organization, Adam Savage's Tested, Glendale Unified School District, the Wounded Warrior Project, Expression College, Make: Magazine, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Magic Wheelchair, and numerous other groups.
Known for his kind-hearted nature, Fon is recognized as a dedicated team builder, diligent planner, and skilled troubleshooter who is deeply committed to fostering and strengthening communities.
