Jeremy Marc Poitras is a Canadian Assistant Director, Producer, and Director based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Over nearly a decade in film and television production, he has built a reputation for leading complex productions across scripted, unscripted, competition, and international formats.
Beginning his career as a Production Assistant, Jeremy advanced through the Assistant Directing ranks to work on acclaimed productions including the TV shows The Last of Us, The Night Agent, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Midnight Mass, Kung Fu, and The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down. His experience spans major studio productions, premium streaming content, and internationally distributed reality and competition series.
Known for his calm leadership style, technical expertise, and strong organizational skills, Jeremy combines a background in broadcasting, live television, technical direction, and production management to help creative teams deliver ambitious projects efficiently. His work bridges the gap between creative vision and practical execution, supporting productions from development through post-production.
In addition to Assistant Directing, Jeremy has expanded into directing and producing, with a growing focus on premium unscripted, travel, and documentary storytelling.
