Born in 1938, he graduated in 1962 with a degree in Physics from the Universities of Milan and Rome. Between 1966 and 1967, he served as assistant director to Lucio Fulci; in 1968 and 1969, to Edward G. Muller and Anthony Ascott; and in 1970, to Richard Lester and Mike Kidd.
From 1976 to 1988, he worked for the Italian public radio network RAI. Between 1983 and 1987, he was based in Hollywood, California, where he wrote three feature films. During this time, he produced and directed the two-hour documentary Death as a Fine Art, and in 1984, he worked in the Sales and Acquisitions Department for Harmony Gold, Inc. in West Hollywood.
From 1987 to 1990, he wrote three additional scripts: Rendez Vous in Juhu, Adrift, and A Slow Boat To China. Simultaneously, he managed a Post-Production and Dubbing Company in Los Angeles specializing in adaptations and dubbing of Italian, French, and Spanish films into English. In 1988, he worked in sales and acquisitions for Euramco, Inc. in Culver City.
In 1991, he wrote three screenplays for IMS - International Movie Service, led by Ovidio G. Assonitis: Little Ninja Man (American Ninja #5), The White Elephant (Parts I and II), and Little Ninja Man is Back (American Ninja #6).
In 1992, he penned two more screenplays for IMS: Abuse and The Day of Piranhas (Piranha 3). In 1993, he wrote Caccia Alta (Prime Target), a screenplay for Century International in Italy. Between 1994 and 1996, he authored two screenplays for Trihoof Entertainment Group: The Count and Dagon.
