Sarah Randall Hunt is an actress and filmmaker known for blending humor, heart, transformation, and depth in her work. Raised in Kansas, her passion for performance emerged early, earning her the nickname "Sarah Bernhardt" from her grandmother.
Initially studying opera, Sarah soon found her true passion in acting and earned her degree from Emerson College. She then relocated to New York City, where she developed her skills across Off-Broadway theater, national tours, television, film, and commercials. Under the guidance of renowned instructors such as Larry Moss, Lesly Kahn, and Bob Krakower, she cultivated a unique, multifaceted storytelling style. Her talent earned her a nomination for Best Featured Actress from BroadwayWorld West.
Now living in Los Angeles, Sarah works closely with her husband, director and screenwriter Yaroslav Altunin, on multiple film and television projects. Together, they focus on creating inclusive stories filled with humor and hope. Their films have been showcased at prestigious festivals including HollyShorts, Dances With Films, Seoul WebFest, Kansas City Film Festival, and the LA Film Festival. Sarah also co-wrote, produced, and starred in the comedy web series Stupid Cupid, which has received numerous awards at film festivals and the Women in Film, TV, and Theatre Grant from MOME/NYFA.
