Herbert Forthuber is an Austrian actor fluent in German, Austrian dialect, English, and French, with bases in London, Munich, and Vienna. His acting career blossomed through diverse life experiences, formal training in Austria, and masterclasses led by esteemed coaches such as Suzanne Geyer (Germany), Bernard Hiller, Kirk Baltz (L.A.), and The Actors Studio at Pinewood Studios, UK.
Herbert has appeared as French Général D'Arbanville in the acclaimed series OUTLANDER, portrayed Gregorie LeChamps alongside Neil Morrissey and James Buckley in the Channel 5 mini-series FINDERS KEEPERS, and featured in Neil Gaiman's ANANSI BOYS. His credits also include roles in the James Bond film A Quantum of Solace, the German crime series Tatort, the feature film My Blind Date with Life (directed by Oscar nominee Marc Rothemund), and as Investor Mr. Williamson in the well-known Rosamunde Pilcher TV movies, among others.
