Kellie's journey started on the stages of many of Ireland's most prestigious venues. Her successful debut performance at the National Concert Hall at age 15 earned her invitations to return for the following two years. At 18, Kellie signed with a Los Angeles-based management company, which led her to move to the United States. After relocating to Los Angeles, she recorded her first album, "No Prisoners," featuring her original songs. She collaborated with producer Preston Glass, known for his work with Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, and Aretha Franklin. Kellie worked with Preston again on his album "Music is Medicine," performing together on numerous occasions. A standout moment was when Kellie lent her voice to Preston's hit song "Miss You Like Crazy" at his album launch party.
Kellie starred in the Irish romantic comedy "The O'Briens" and contributed two songs, "Home" and "Capture," to the film, both of which are included on her album "Bluebird." In Los Angeles, she began writing and hosting for the news network Current TV, founded by former American Vice President Al Gore, gaining valuable writing experience. Combining music and television, Kellie appeared on Ireland's TV show "The Voice," where Sharon Corr served as her mentor.
Her diverse roles include appearances in the horror film "The Inside," Neil Jordan's "The Borgias," and most recently, sharing the screen with Will Ferrell in "The Shrink Next Door." She also played a significant role in the holiday film "A Merry Scottish Christmas," set for release this winter. In 2022, Kellie received an Actor as Creator grant from Screen Ireland. She wrote, starred in, and produced the short film "Woman in Retrograde," composing music alongside Golden Globe nominee Brian Byrne. The film screened at multiple festivals, including two Oscar-qualifying ones, Cork and Foyle, and earned a nomination for Best Short Film at the international Julien Dubuque Film Festival.
