Flowers is an award-winning Executive Producer, Ad Executive, Actor, Writer, Director, and Entrepreneur. He took to heart his acting coach’s advice: "If you want to be a good actor, get a life!"
Heeding this, Flowers embraced his ADHD and relocated from Maryland to California to pursue his craft, gathering a wealth of diverse life experiences that have enriched his storytelling, deepened his characters, and enhanced his artistic depth.
Beyond his extensive entertainment career, Flowers has worked as a teacher, motivational speaker, licensed massage therapist, loan officer, photographer, certified personal trainer, advertising executive, barber, and more. He has lived across the U.S. and internationally, engaging with various social circles and cultures, sharpening his perspective and continuously expanding his reservoir of stories. Who said having ADHD is all bad?
The many chapters of Flowers' life inform his creative work. He co-executive produced the live TV event "HEAVEN SENT," broadcast on FOX and streamed worldwide on YouTube as a pay-per-view. The show featured Luke Aikins jumping from 25,000 feet without a parachute or wingsuit, landing safely in a net, earning a Guinness World Record. In 2016, Flowers co-produced the Black Lives Matter anthem "Bigger Than Us. Bigger Than Us," featuring NBA two-time MVP Stephen Curry and All-Star Damian Lillard for JBL. The song and video addressed police brutality and racial injustice, airing on "NBA ON TNT" on Dr. Martin Luther King Day. It received a Clio Gold, London International Award Gold, Cannes Bronze Lion, and One Show Merit.
Flowers was an early innovator in branded entertainment, contributing to BBDO’s Snickers hit streaming show "Instant Def," starring the Black Eyed Peas and Terry Crews, as well as Gatorade’s streaming sports and entertainment platform, missionG.com. While many know missionG.com launched Gatorade Replay, fewer know Flowers co-produced the series "Leave It On The Floor," hosted by Derek Watkins (aka Fonzworth Bentley), featuring guests like Will.I.Am, Lil Wayne, the Jabbawockeez, Bootsy Collins, Chuck Brown, and more.
He has produced several pilots, including "Aww Funk Me!" with Jimmy Smith and Jesse Dylan. The show stars legendary musician Bootsy Collins, ?uestlove of The Roots, and 2007 Academy Awards choreographer Fatima Robinson.
Flowers currently holds a series regular role on the hit show "DOUBLE CROSS," portraying the no-nonsense Chief of Police, Chief Potts. He is also preparing to direct and star in "ANGELIQUE," a film he wrote over 20 years ago.
Passionate about his craft, Flowers earned a B.A. in English from Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. "Amid the hustle of life as an artist, I’ve found a true passion for storytelling. As a filmmaker, my goal is to use my talents to heal lives and bring laughter and entertainment to homes worldwide.
