Biographie
Her debut occurred in 1997 on the popular satirical show 'Pippo Chennedy Show'. Following several successful programs such as 'La posta del cuore' (1998), 'L'ottavo nano' (2000), 'Il caso Scafroglia' (2002), and 'Bulldozer' (2003), Caterina Guzzanti appeared in Gialappa's Band's shows 'Mai dire lunedì', 'Mai dire martedì', and 'Mai dire Grande Fratello' on Italia 1 during 2006 and 2007. From 2007 to 2010, she portrayed Arianna in the cult series 'Boris' across three seasons. In 2008, she joined the cast of 'Parla con me', and in 2011 and 2013, she co-hosted six episodes of 'Sostiene Bollani' alongside pianist Stefano Bollani on Rai3. In 2012, she co-presented 'Nanuk-Prove d'avventura' with Davide Demichelis on Rai3, and in 2013, she hosted the satirical show 'La prova dell'otto' on MTV. In 2021, she featured in the popular game show 'Lol - Chi ride è fuori' on Prime Video, and in 2022, she reprised her role as Arianna in the fourth season of 'Boris'. On stage, she starred in 'Due Partite' (2015), written by Cristina Comencini and directed by Paola Rota. In film, she has been a lead in acclaimed works such as Paolo Virzì's 'Tutta la vita davanti' (2008), Luca Lucini's 'Oggi sposi' (2009), Massimiliano Bruno's 'Nessuno mi può giudicare' (2011) and 'Confusi e felici' (2014), Giacomo Ciarrapico, Mattia Torre, and Luca Vendruscolo's 'Ogni maledetto Natale' (2014), Matteo Gentiloni's 'Mollami', and Giuliana Gamba's 'Burraco Fatale' (2020). More recently, she appeared in Tiziano Russo's 'Noi anni luce', and is set to feature in the upcoming films 'Cattiva coscienza' by Davide Minnella and 'Elf me' by YouNuts!.
