Biographie
Patterson was born in Douglasville, Georgia, on January 19, 1979, and grew up in Buckhead, an affluent neighborhood in North Atlanta. He attended Sarah Rawson Smith Elementary until third grade. In 1986, he and his mother moved from Atlanta, Georgia, to Winter Park, Florida, where they lived until 1987 before returning to Atlanta.
From 1987 to 1992, Patterson attended Montgomery Elementary School in Dunwoody, Georgia, graduating in 1992 and enrolling at Chamblee High School that same year.
Patterson left school early in 1994 and passed the Georgia High School Diploma Equivalency Test with one of the top ten highest scores in the state. In 1995, he launched what would become his own Internet design company, Tangible Dreams Entertainment.
Since 1997, Patterson has maintained full control over the domain idreamofjeannie.com, the oldest and most renowned fan website for *I Dream of Jeannie*. Through this site, he has connected with most of the surviving cast and crew of the show and is regarded as one of the leading experts on the 1960s sitcom.
In 1998, Patterson began working with Ray Productions, an Orlando-based company specializing in haunted attractions. That September, he met Cassandra 'Elvira' Peterson for the first time and became the first Elvira look-alike to appear at a public attraction endorsed by Elvira herself.
Starting in 1999, Patterson worked in set design, prop fabrication, and special effects makeup. His designs have been featured at Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream in Tampa, Florida, and in New Line Cinema’s House of Horrors, where he helped design and create Top Horror Icons Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Leatherface-themed haunted houses.
In 2002, after five years portraying Elvira, Patterson 'retired' from the role by appearing with Cassandra Peterson at the Atlanta premiere of her second feature film, *Elvira’s Haunted Hills*. However, in 2006, he returned to the character and was invited by Peterson to join her reality show, which began filming in 2007.
In 2006, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment hired Patterson as a copywriter, design consultant, cartoonist, and photo restorationist for the development of the third through fifth season DVD boxed sets of *I Dream of Jeannie*. His cartoon artwork featuring the iconic bottle and lead characters appears on all three box sets, along with episodic synopses for each season.
In the summer of 2007, Patterson relocated from Atlanta to Hollywood, California. Since moving, he has worked with Cassandra Peterson and made appearances on the Fox series *Journey Man*, *CSI: Crime Scene Investigation*, the Sandra Bullock film *All About Steve*, and others.
In December 2007, Patterson launched his weekly Internet talk radio show, *Wednesday Night LIVE*, co-hosted with Scott Courson (aka Circus Envy). The show covers current news, Hollywood gossip, an obscure movie of the week, and paranormal topics, featuring a celebrity guest each episode.
In March 2008, Patterson began collaborating with Dee Wallace Stone.
