Biographie
Tatiana García is a Creative Producer with a distinguished 22-year career, covering film production, musicalization, and writing. Raised between Mexico City and New York, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication, a Diploma in Film and Gender Studies, a Professional Certificate in Film Producing from New York University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Media Production/Film Production from City College of New York.
Tatiana began her career as a freelance associate producer at MTV Latin America before moving on to independent film projects in Mexico City. In 2007, she relocated to New York, her second home, where her career progressed significantly. She worked as a screener for the Tribeca Film Festival, served as Associate Director at Cinema Tropical, and became the Coordinator of the Producing Program at the New York Film Academy.
Her work spans documentaries, feature films, television shows, music videos, docu-series, and digital content. She has collaborated with notable organizations including Jingletown, NGL, PBS, BNS, NBC, Sesame Workshop, Netflix, and HBO.
Tatiana is recognized for her innovative approaches, keen attention to detail, and skill in crafting compelling stories. She has been instrumental in connecting creative production efforts between Mexico City and the United States, establishing herself as a vital link in both local and international projects. Beyond filmmaking, she hosts Negritud, a radio program on Convoy Network that celebrates the history and pride of Afro-descendants worldwide through music.
