Biographie
Michelle Mosalakae is a South African actress, writer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist best known for her breakout role as Zakithi in the acclaimed television drama Isibaya, as well as her performance in Netflix’s Silverton Siege.
A cum laude graduate of Rhodes University with a BA Honours in Dramatic Arts, specializing in Acting, Directing, and Applied Theatre, Michelle has established herself as one of South Africa’s leading young screen talents. She is recognized for her compelling performances, emotional range, and commitment to authentic storytelling, while using her platform to champion greater representation and inclusion within the entertainment industry.
Beyond her work on screen, Michelle is a passionate advocate for sport and youth development. She is the founder and Chairlady of ARMOR FC, a men’s football club dedicated to developing talented young players, and the founder of the Michelle Mosalakae Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering young people through sport, education, the arts, and community development in places like Diepsloot, Mabopane and other areas in South Africa.
Michelle has partnered with leading international and African brands, including NIVEA, Savanna, Revlon, and Walmart Africa, establishing herself as an influential voice across entertainment, beauty, sport, and social impact.
As her career continues to grow, Michelle is expanding into writing, producing, and developing original film and television projects, while pursuing opportunities across the global entertainment industry.
