Biographie
Jacqueline Journey is an acclaimed filmmaker and television producer who has created thousands of hours of original content broadcast worldwide, including in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East, South America, and the United States. Her portfolio includes award-winning live concerts, documentaries, series, and high-profile interviews with Oscar and Grammy winners, legends, and celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, Willie Nelson, Billy Bob Thornton, Juliette Lewis, and Taylor Swift.
She has contributed to three 24-hour music and entertainment networks: Hit Video USA (acquired by Viacom International), TMZ, The Music Zone (a collaboration with TCI/Liberty), and M*E Television (a partnership with Time Warner), where she served as Vice President and Executive Producer. Most recently, Journey was appointed COO of Carolco Pictures, Inc., the legendary studio behind iconic blockbusters like Terminator 2, Basic Instinct, the Rambo series, Total Recall, LA Story, Chaplin, Stargate, and more.
In 2015, Journey completed her debut feature film, Hidden Assets, which she wrote, directed, and starred in. The film premiered at Cannes and won BEST FILM at Florida Supercon. Beyond her extensive work behind the camera, she is an award-winning actress known for her role as Karen Stark on NBC's Friday Night Lights, as well as appearances in various independent films and hosting several popular music and entertainment series, some of which have been internationally syndicated.
