Biographie
Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Lucky enlisted in the Army at 18 and was selected for the 1st Ranger Battalion (Black Berets), an elite anti-terrorism and anti-guerrilla unit. During his time with the Rangers, he traveled extensively and received training in various military skills, including demolitions, scuba diving, and low-level parachuting. After completing his service, he attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. While vacationing in New York with a friend, Lucky was discovered by an agent from the prestigious Elite Modeling Agency, who signed him immediately. His first assignment involved a photoshoot for GQ MAGAZINE with internationally acclaimed photographer Francesco Scavullo. Over the next five years, he lived and traveled throughout Europe and Asia, hiked the Himalayas, and embarked on 12 remote expeditions in Alaska. Lucky continued his education at NYU and Fordham University, studying political science and history, but paused his academic pursuits when he secured a role as a construction worker in a Diet Coke commercial. The commercial became one of Coca-Cola's most successful campaigns, leading to promotional appearances across the United States and Europe. Deciding to pursue acting, Lucky trained with top instructors, including Alan Savage in New York, Howard Fine (Advanced Scene Study), Groundlings, and Jessica Drake (speech) in Los Angeles. He landed his first starring role in the feature film "Chapter Perfect" (Spring 1995), guest-starred on NBC’s comedy "WINGS," appeared alongside Carol Burnett on ABC's "ALL MY CHILDREN" anniversary special, and co-hosted part of the 1994 CLIO Awards with Kelsey Grammer. In 1997, Lucky starred in Aaron Spelling’s "PACIFIC PALISADES" on Fox, followed by a starring role in the feature film "JACK OF HEARTS" (released in 1999) and a guest appearance on "PENSACOLA: WINGS OF GOLD" (aired January 1999). In February 1999, he appeared in "HANGING UP," directed by Diane Keaton. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
