Biographie
Mike, originally from Santa Monica, California, spent his childhood at the beach surfing, skateboarding, and practicing beach gymnastics near the Santa Monica pier. By age 12, he had become a top award-winning AAU Jr Olympic Diver and a professional dancer skilled in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Flamenco, Hindu, various Polynesian styles, and even figure skating. At 13, he began working for Disney as Mowgli in the Christmas Parade and continued with roles such as Mickey Mouse and Pinocchio for many years. Alongside his performances, Mike took acting and voice lessons, solidifying his commitment to a career in entertainment.
A passionate surfer, Mike was also an early, innovative skateboarder from the Santa Monica/Venice area known as "Dogtown" during the late 1960s and 70s. Often, he and his friends, including his brothers Mario and Mark, would surf in the morning, ski in the local mountains in the afternoon, and skateboard all night. This active lifestyle introduced him to various outdoor sports such as rock climbing, rollerblading, snowboarding, mountain biking, motorcycling, and horseback riding. These experiences inspired him to pursue a career in stunt work, a natural and fulfilling transition. Mike enjoys acting, dancing, and singing and is always ready to perform.
In 1983, Mike married his longtime friend Marisa, whom he has known since kindergarten. Together, they have two stepsons, David and Kristopher. At the time of this writing, their family includes nine grandchildren—Liliana, Marisa, Anthony, Kris, Robert, Keoni, Koa, Danilo, and Saulo—and four great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Olivia, Blake, and Kayley.
