Taylor Baugh, also known as Mary Elizabeth Baugh, began her performing career at age 10 with the professional children's choir, the Carillon Choristers.
She performed for royalty, celebrities, charities, benefit events, special occasions, and recordings. Notable achievements include being part of the first American choir to place at the International Musical Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales, performing Gershwin with the Minnesota Orchestra, singing on jingles, and appearing in her first commercial.
During high school, under the direction of Sally Bublitz, she portrayed Tessie Hutchison in the gripping short play "The Lottery," Minnie Faye in "The Matchmaker," and Fred the Princess in the musical "Once Upon a Mattress."
She continued her studies in college, learning from award-winning directors, actors, and journalists at Normandale Community College and the University of Minnesota.
After graduating, Taylor acted with theatre and summer stock companies across North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota. Her work in professional theatre in the Twin Cities eventually led her to Chicago.
In Chicago, she performed with ensembles such as Second City, The Organic Theatre, The Factory Theatre, The Bailiwick, and Stage Left. After gaining four years of solid theatre experience, she relocated to Los Angeles, adopting a new stage name in honor of her grandmother, June Taylor.
Taylor currently lives in Los Angeles following an 18-month stay in New York City and focuses on all on-camera opportunities.
