Biographie
Danny Rose is a veteran producer with more than two decades of experience developing and delivering high impact scripted and non scripted television. As President of Danny Rose Media, Inc., based in Studio City, he oversees a slate of original content for broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms, guiding projects from inception through production with a reputation for creative rigor, strong talent relationships, and consistently top rated results.
He is currently the lead Producer of Melting Point, a comedy thriller feature film slated to shoot in Ireland, reflecting his continued expansion into global storytelling and feature length work, along with an additional feature set in Majorca. His pilot Love Handles, originally set up at HBO and later re established at Amazon, was developed in close collaboration with Regina King, underscoring his ability to champion distinctive concepts and guide them across platforms.
Danny’s career includes a pivotal tenure as Co Executive Producer of CBS’s hit series Scorpion, which he developed after acquiring the life rights of its central figure. The series ran four seasons and produced 93 episodes, supported by a high profile creative package that helped propel it to global success. At Viacom, he Executive Produced projects including Zoe Ever After starring Brandy, the music driven competition series Chasing Destiny with Kelly Rowland, and the documentary series Todrick, which he co created with Brian Graden.
Earlier in his career, Danny held key producing roles at ABC Studios and Warner Bros. Television, producing some of the most successful comedies of the era. His credits include all six seasons of Cougar Town and all nine seasons of the Emmy nominated Scrubs, as well as pilots such as Undatebale, which went on to a three season run.
Throughout his career, Danny has collaborated with influential creative voices, including Justin Lin, Alex Kurtzman, Bob Orci, Bill Lawrence, Meghan Trainor, and Scooter Braun, among other top authors, writers, and filmmakers, bringing ambitious ideas to life with a focus on scale, character, and commercial reach.
Currently on his slate are multiple IP driven projects and international formats that he is actively bringing to market, reflecting his continued focus on globally resonant storytelling and adaptable, franchise ready concepts.
A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Danny earned his BFA in Film and Television Production after completing studies in Business and Media Arts at Tulane University. His blend of creative discipline, market insight, and collaborative leadership continues to define his work and solidify his standing as a producer shaping the next generation of television and film storytelling.
